The slam ball is a great piece of resistance or plyometric equipment that is similar to the medicine ball. I’m personally a fan of the slam ball, as you can use it as a medicine ball, but it’s also specifically designed to be slammed on the ground or wall to help increase your power. You can use it to work your shoulders, arms and core, and for power or plyometric exercises. These are in the mid range for price and retail for about $20-$50 depending on the weight.
